For anyone interested in the area in Devon around the town of Totnes it would be worth visiting www.totnesimagebank.org. You can search for different villages and copies of photographs can be purchased through the site. Visited the actual place recently and they had a very interesting exhibition of photos of shops in Totnes in yesteryear with their owners posed outside and then by way of comparison a current photo of the same location with the current owners.
