Hi Red Dragon, noted that you say we have lost a member, and that the new matches show a minus.
Do our own records of Cousins get readjusted automatically ? or are we notified that we have lost one?

Hi John, I've since heard from Peter that this dip in the numbers is only temporary, which is great news.
It's a good question, which hopefully Peter can provide a definitive answer to.

If one of your cousins were to delete the entries they share with you, they'll still appear on your My Cousins page but there will be no shared relatives listed.

Very occasionally a cousin might close their account. Considering how many members there are this is a very rare occurrence, but it does happen from time to time - usually because the member concerned has reached a certain time in life and has nobody to take over.

When a member decides to close their account I encourage them to inform their cousins as a matter of courtesy - but I can't force them to do that. Of course, if you keep in contact with your cousins the chances are you'll already know of their plans.
