Looking for Hurd/Hird/Heard/Herd in Norfolk

I believe my ancestor Robert Hurd was born circa 1791 in Fundenhall -Tacolnestone area. Would like to get back further.

I have made a note of your ancestor and when I get a chance Robert I'll see if I can locate him in the parish registers. I can't promise when but I'll try at some point. As it takes time to search these records could you be more exact about the parish in which he might have been born? Is there anything else that would help identify him like a marriage partner or sibling name(s) would be great.
 
I assume you tried the Free Reg site? I found a baptism for Robert at Tacolneston( quote )All Saints 18 Nov 1790 and mother Sarah Herd but no father mentioned.
I don't know if that helps.

Thanks for tip and the earlier quote. I too found the FreeReg entry. The 1790 Robert with mother Sarah could be him. It is confusing that Robert married a Sarah Day in 1811 at Wicklewood. Their son Benjamin was baptised in 1827 in Tacolneston. His son Benjamin (my gg grandfather) was also baptised in Tacolneston. So I'm still at a brick wall re Robert's father. Perhaps he wasn't a Herd/Hurd and took his mother's surname.
