All records below from Malpas in Cheshire.

of Cudington married ffebruary 2 1635.........1635/2/2 (1636 modern)
So it looks to me as if Randle/Randall #5101, aged 14 years (actually 18 days under!), and Margret/Margarett #5102, aged 12 years 5 months, married despite having at least a father (#5103) in common!
They, or at least he, had a son, though some years later (1648) [may have been other kids earlier]:
"Randle sonne of Randle Meredith of Cuddington baptised decemb 29"
...............................................#5098 #5101 1648/12/29
(That Randle [#5098] had two sons, both Randle, 1678-167? and 1679/'80-1728.
#5099 and #4966.)
[#5098 is my 8G-GF.]
Have I misread the records? Any other explanation? (The obvious one would be that there are two Owen Merediths in Malpas at the time, but I've not found evidence of that.) For the avoidance of doubt: I have no problem if they were brother and sister (or at least half); it's just interesting.
