Ancestry.com - free access to two collections until July 7th

Hi,
I've just had an email to say that access to Sons of the American Revolution Membership Applications and the 1940 U.S. Federal Census will be free on Ancestry.com until the 7th of July.

Now, if only there was a quick way of finding those "hints" that I ignored because I can't afford worldwide membership. Actually it's not so much that I can't afford it, more a value judgement on how useful that level of membership would be for me. I wish Ancestry wouldn't give me hints that point areas I don't have access to.
