Hello, I have a couple of postcards addressed to a Miss Ada Norman of High Road Schools, Leyton Essex. I looked her up on the census and her father was the caretaker there in 1911. Her parents were Frederick and Mary Ann and in 1911 she was 23, born Shoreditch. If this lady is in your tree, let me know.

Kate, when you post in a sub-forum you're triggering an email to everyone who is following the sub-forum, even though the chance of any one of them being related to this lady must be very small.

The best way to find out whether any LostCousins member has this person in their tree is to add her to your My Ancestors page (and ideally her parents too, as they'll be on the 1881 Census). You can use the Historical Research relationship in a situation like this.

Doing it that way will not only increase your chances of finding her relatives very considerably, it will ensure that forum members like me who have an Essex connection, but aren't related to Ada, don't receive emails.
